ProVideoPlayer Organization
There are a number of features to help organize your library. You can sort, re-order, or create playlists, and search for clips across the Library and all Playlists. You can also customize your Thumbnail or List view.
Organizing your Library | |

The Library, and all Playlists, can be sorted on a variety of attributes. Use the pull down menu at the top of the clip selection window pane to select your sort criteria. You may also wish to use the List View instead of the Thumbnail View to help manage your library. Toggle back and forth between views using the Use the scale slider |
Working with Playlists | |

A Playlist is a container for a selection of media clips. The use of Playlists help you to keep your clips organized and give you quick access to pre-sorted clips. To create a Playlist, Choose File -> New Playlist (Command-Shift-N) or press the "+" button You can change the order of the playlist by simply dragging each one to a different position. You can also change the order in which clips reside in the playlist. Command-dragging a thumbnail to a new position. This custom ordering can ONLY be executed when the Sort Selector at the top of the playlist grid is on "My Order" |
Finding Media in you Library | |

To preform a search in the Library, enter your search criteria into the search field and press the return key. This search filter will remain active across playlists and thumb/list views until you click on the "x" button within the search field to clear the search. |

below the Playlist windowpane. Double-click on the new Playlist entry to change the title. To add a clip to the Playlist, hold down the Command-key and drag a thumbnail from the Library (or from another playlist) to your destination playlist and release the mouse. To select mutliple clips at the same time, Command-Click on each clip. You can Command-Shift-Click to select a range of clips. You may also choose to select the clips using the Command-click or Command-shift-click methods and simply copy (Command-C) these clips from the Library or playlist, and Paste (Command-V) into another playlist.
